Do you guys know what they are. I saw a pic in my Chilton of a buffer rod (associated with the engine mounts) on an '89. I have had the car apart soo many times and don't know what he hell they are! Never saw them. Am I missing something and is that why my mounts still feel rubbery after replacing them with filled new oem mounts? Please enlighten me.
