MINE
SUPERBLACK BABY! of course this is if you forget how it gets totally dirty just driving home from a car wash, and how you have waterspots even if you instantly dry it off...But when it's clean it looks really tight and it's like a mirror...I can seriosuly see my face in it!

Personally, I think that the silver is the best. It works well blending it with other colors like black and red when customizing and painting calipers. Mine used to have a black and red stripe but removed them when I had it painted and then had it repainted all silver except the bottom and I had it blended from silver to black at the bottom. But, it's not even all around. I had it blended higher in the back (almost to the top of the bumper) and lower in the front, so it angled down, I think it looks sweet, IMO. When I get new wheels, I'll paint the calipers red.

Any pics of this car? I would like to see what it looks like and what was the original color? I think that Silver is the best color also, but they are just so damn hard to find in the 3rd Gen. I don't want to do it, but I may have to end up painting a car that I buy, just to get Silver.

SuPER Black! that's what i 've got and i defenitely think it's the best color. but it does get dirty easily. Considering it's black on black leather, even nicer. Hotter in the summer though!

Brown
My Max is Tannish Brown or I guess Cocoa Brown. I hardly ever see that color around, it looks really nice after a wash.

I'll get some pics by Friday. I've been broke and not had any money! I'll take some pics, though I do have some of the rear that shows you what it looks like with my Stillen GT wing! I've got to email out some pics of my CAI too, I need to get busy, I'm sorry for making so many people wait to see them! That's what happens when you've got a family and a two year old wanting Thomas the Tank Engine toys for Christmas!!!! Funny, I've pics of everything else on my car like the Jacobs, BMW lights, and Fuel pressure riser, but not the side of my car!?

well.....if we are talking about 3rd gens i would have to say that the best two colors are charcoal grey and metallic blue...has anyone seen these 3rd gens after they have been polished (not waxed) man these cars look immaculate after a good polish,as far as 4th gens i would have to say the navy blue and the hunter green max...the thing i like about the hunter green 4th gen is that is has that dark appeal to it,at night the hunter green max gives off the impression that it it superblack...5th gens i would give it to the grey lustre and the sterling mist.thats my opinion fellas and i am stickin to it.

Superblack
Of course, that's the color of my car. But seriously, it kind of depends. Superblack looks better on '91+ cars as they came with the shiny alloy wheels from the factory. Makes for a nice contrast.

I think SuperBlack is the best color. My second favorite color would be Electric Blue (but that isn't an optional color for the max) and my third favorite would have to me my color.. SkyBlue Metallic.. I have never seen another max with my same color. I've seen tons of light blue max's around but NONE of them are the same shade as my color.

326 Super White..........
I like the white and also the dark blue and the burgundy colours.
White is good because it always looks clean and U can't see little scratches and chips. People also think Im an unmarked cop. I always chase people around and they pull over thinking Im a cop...

What color?
My first, 92 max SE, was silver, it was nice w/limo tint. Then 93 SE, dark metallic blue, that color was the awesome. Even though now I ended up with Super Black, it looks good, but as clean freak as I'm it just pisses me off that my car get dirty so fast, I guess thats what you get for having black car. Just can't wait till summer, never owned a black car / w/ black leather before, especially when you live in TX. But honestly I was looking for a silver one 4th gen

Champagne
Or beige or whatever it's called. Looks very classy.
Next I would think silver and black.
I just don't like white on cars. Gets dirty too easily and no interior colors look good with it IMHO. That's likely to get me flamed

the thing with silver 3rd gens that i don't like is that they really don't shine all that well...i have seen some 3rd gens after having been waxed and they don't have that shine that i look for, they still look a little dull to me...i think that as far as silver 3rd gens go nissan decided to go with a cheap quality paint.

Well, duh! Medium Sapphire Blue, of course!!
Just kidding, though it is my favourite. I love dark metallic blue. I also love silver, and the Max looks good in silver too. Black is very classy and good looking, but I have had black cars - they are a PAIN to keep nice looking. White is the best for durability and such, but I don't think it looks good on the Maximas. That pearl color is weird - like egg-nog or something...

Blue it is. Blue, silver and black are my favs.

And...<img src="http://www.speedtoys.com/~wedge/images/max/93SE_front.jpg">

Looks like some shine to me, and that's dirty after all the rain...

I always referred to the 'champagne' as beige or gold....I thought champagne, was what you call 'pearl'....I think sentra calls it cappucino mist or sumthin(champagne that is)...well anyways, my fave is pearl, the metallic egg nog color!
My man hates it, he says it looks like a dirty white max....I love it , that what I originally wanted, before I owned my max, I had NO intrest in white.
btw, the sapphire max...I LOVE THAT, Its so pretty, that must be custom??
I do love drk emerald grn 4th gens!!!

My car is the same color as Jacobs...... he got the nice quality pics tho.. I really like my color, for a third gen, I think the best color is charcoal grey, or superblack, mine is cool too, silver is nice....

I swear, Bucktown's 3rd gen maxima has the illest freakin color there is, looks SICK with tint.. 93 SE has a very nice color as well.

the thing i don't like about 3rd gens is the black trunk center piece that came on the 90-91 max...i like the way the center piece on the 92+ matches the tailights....if i had to get another 3rd gen it would be a 94SE just like jacobs ride.....whatever happened to bucktown anyway?i have not seen him post in a while.

My car's that charcoal grey (although I've told people that it's everything from steel grey to gunmetal grey), but I'm partial to the white ones. I know I'll get flamed for this, but I kinda like that chameleon paint job that Max in Dallas has (and I'm sure SOMEONE knows which car I'm talking about).

I've always like black and white, just because they're clean and contrast well with lights/tint/rims etc. Now I've got a burgundy, though, and I like it because

1. Its different.
2. Its dark.
3. It looks nice with black (leather) interior.

any color but that baby blue
I think every color is fine on the max....dumb thread to begin with anyways, but I'm bored. The baby blue max's I've seen have faded door bumpers...well, just about any nissan in that color, so that's why I say it's not a good color.

Re: any color but that baby blue
What are you talking about? Maxima's don't even come in Baby Blue. Also, the faded door moldings is a problem that many 3rd gens face regardless of the color.

I'm talking about your color...that sky blue/ baby blue/ light blue, sorry I don't know the exact name blue,...I've seen a lot of maximas....I've only noticed the light blue ones that are faded. I have a dark blue, and mine isn't even faded one bit, just that it wants to peel off. Stop getting an attitude over nothing.

sorry, no 'ruby pearl' for me! My ex-gf has a 'ruby pearl' stanza.

super black is by far my favorite, and not just because it's the color of my car. Even if it shows every little dirt spot and chip, it still looks the best from the next lane over when you blow by the guy!!

I think it's just the totally black-out look of the SE model in black that gets me, with the black mirrors/trim and the smoked taillights.

I like the skyblue color also, and the dark metallic blue.
