ne1 have some pics of installed components in a 3rd gen? i'm gonna have sum coming soon and am just pondering where 2 put the tweeters...they r gonna b memphis studio 6.5 if that means anything...i guess the main thing i'm worried about is blowing my ears out cause the coxial memphis speakers i have now r kinda harsh and also i dont really wanna cut up my car, but i guess i'll have 2...hmmmmmm

 

i fitted 5 1/4" components and tweeters inside my door panel (all behind the grille).. not exactly sure if 6 1/2 will all fit in there but i've heard of it being done

I've got Boston ProSeries 6.5's in my doors, with the tweeters mounted on the sail panel. Using the Bose speaker pod, it was a tight fit, to say the least. But it can be done.

thanx guys...i think i like the a pillar look, but who knows...ima do what some1 suggested in another thread and use double sided tape to get the best position 4 sound and go from there...i'll post pics of course when im done...
