Clearance problems with Stillen front lip??
Im looking at getting the stillen front lip this week but was wondering if anyone has had clearance problems with the lip. I have Intrax springs, KYB GR2 struts and 225/50/16 tires, would i have clearance problems with that set up and the lip?? I really want the lip!!!
Thanks

The lip doesnt actually hang down much farther than the stock stuff, it just protrudes (sp?) out a little more to the front of the car and maybe a half inch lower down.
No clearance issues at all.

hmmmmmm, so the lip doesn't protrude much lower than stock? Only thing is, I wonder what my car would look like with the lower body panels painted body color.

It hangs down maybe 1 1/2 to 2 inches lower (I was wrong in my first post, but it's still not that much), but like I said the big thing is that it protrudes out toward the front alot more. That's the big thing that would make it scrape.
Kinda like having a fart pipe sticking out the back, it's not really much lower but just sticks out alot farther and then you scrape it on everything.
But I've had no problems whatsoever.

My kit is way lower than the Stillen and I don't even have problems. A very steep gradient like a driveway may cause problems, but at worst you're going to scrape the bottom of the lip where no one can see anyway. I wouldn't put too much thought into it. If it's put on properly it will take a whole lot to rip it off under any normal driving conditions, trust me .
