hello, can anyone give me ideas where to buy a replacement shift boot & shift ****. the dealer wants $80 for the **** and $40 for the boot. thanks

 

You can get a **** for cheap just about anywhere. The rice section in PepBoys, Autozone, etc. Heck I've even seen em at like Walmart and stuff.

I have a nice Momo that I got used from another 3rd genner. Got a good price on it.

As far as the boot, you could make your own pretty easily, or get a fabric/interior shop make you one for cheap. Good luck.

 

$80!! try ebay... I think our **** is the same as the 300zx too but don't take my word for it. There's also plenty of aftermarket stuff out there. My **** is a total piece right now too, the leather is torn on the top and when it gets wet out the leather rubs off the **** onto my hand so I come to class with a giant black ball on my hand which is hard to get off, same thing with the wheel... ugh

 

The leather on mine was tearing off badly so I just cut the rest off, and underneath its all smooth and feels nice. I just cut if off right before the boot starts and I'm happy until I can find a MOMO for cheap.

My budy gave me a cue ball off his old pool table and my max is white I want to try to drill a hole in it and use it for a ****

 

Unfortunately, right now I am concentrating my funds on fixing the CV joints/axle and the tranny. What does the storm look like, you got pics? I don't remember seeing it. I like the combat and F16 style a lot.

I post it on the for sale section a while back, but no one seem interested. It's in very good, practically like new condition.
