will someone please tell me the correct factory offset, i mean hell one person says its 35 another 38 or 40. WHAT IS IT?! my second question is lets say the factory offset is 40(quoted from tirerack). if the offset is based upon the center of the wheel, which in my case would be 3 inches, if i was going to move to a 7 inch wide wheel with a 42 mm offset, then the offset would be based upon 3.5 inches (half of the width of the wheel), meaning that the wheel would be closer to the center of the car half an inch plus 2 mm. right? please if you dont know what your talking about dont respond
