J-spec Gearbox question

Hey guys, have a question for the panel. Does anybody know if they made a 5 speed version of the 93 japan maxi? I have an automatic and thinking of converting to a manual.

Cheers

JDM is always better.. always buy JDM.. it adds 15hps for everything JDM you have on the car.

You guys are missing the point

I wanted to know if I could go from a manual to a 5 speed. I called Nissan down here & they said that my year they didnt make maximas for New Zealand in 5 speed versions. So, I'm asking if anybody got any advise for me and the cheapest way.

If Japan did have a 5/Spd then they're very, very rare. I had two importers search on trips over a 12 month period with no luck.

Guys, remember that this guys from NZ. Used JDM stuff is dirt cheap over there, is RHD same as his car and really the only option. Buying, shipping and adapting everything for a conversion from the US would be worth nearly as much as his car.
