which to do first?

I ordered some 18x7 wheels last week. they should arrive in about 2-3 weeks due to restocking. my question is should i go ahead and get springs and install them, or should i wait untill i put the wheels on to see exactly how much room i have to lower? the tires are 225/40/18, wheels have a 42mm offset, ive been looking at either suspension techniques or intrax, which do you guys think i should go with? thanks

as far as how much room you'll have you should be fine I have the same size wheels and tires on my car and I have sprint springs which is just a tad lower than the intrax. oh and you might want to by some wheel spacers for the back wheels my wheels are 42mm offset too and they were pretty close to the shock tower but you can put the wheel on when you get em and see what you think.

if i buy wheel spacers for the back (5 mm should be about right, right?) then shouldnt i put them on the front too, not that 5 mm is a big difference, but it is a difference, ya know. help me out with this lowering question also, ive seen all kinds of imports including maximas where they only have 1" or 1.5" space between the fender and the tire, are the springs stiff enough to where if you were braking and turning at the same time the tires wouldnt rub on the fender?

I just put the spacers on the back I don't see how that would hurt anything. with my sprint springs I don't have much room at all inbetween the fender and the whell but but the only time the tire rubs is when I turn the wheel all the way to left sometimes other than that it doesn't rub at all.
