Maxima at the auction

I had a 91SE about three months ago and my head and radiator went along with my transmission all in the same week. So I just sold the body. My actual question is Iam thinking of getting another maxima but Im a poor college student so I cant afford to buy one from a dealer so I might go to the Philadelphia Public Auto Auction. Everyone that I know tells me stories about getting a great deal there but I want to know the good along with the bad so if there is anyone who has had a bad experience with a Maxima from the auction or if anyone can tell me about how much I should expect to spend on a 3rd gen. please let me know. Any and all input and comments will be greatly appreciated. Thank You !!!

If VE, Listen for the VTC noise. If either, listen for the manifold stud noise. I equipped with Bose, listen for blown amps. Check your normal vital signs, and you will be ok.

you can only check the car out the night before, but cannot test drive it. The day of the autction, you have to buy as is, you cant check it out. Its risky, once its bought, its bought, thats it. Very risky man. I'd say no, unless it was an absolutly fantastic deal that you can afford
