What to do with my intake....
I got the JWI which is much better then the K&N, and better sound and performance(about 2x as much area). But It's still not CAI, so low end performance(the only kind I really want/off the line) isn't that great. But I spent $130 on this, and $45 on the K&N(canceled the JWI, but they still charged me and sent it anyways), so I could have bought a CAI for that much - and I'm not willing to spend another $200, $400 total for CAI and have two expensive paper weights, if I can make it for $10 more.
So, the only thing I can think of is to make my own. I talked to someone on here, that made his, but I still don't have any idea where/how the filter is suppoed to attach to the bumper. Warp speed told how, but I could jam that sucker in there 100's of different ways(just tip on, whole filter inside bumper, under bumper, in the middle by lights, ect..). BUT.. I here there are Intakes better then CAI? The CAI looses some of the ram effect by having bends, but is there anyway I can make mine, not to have many bends, but to get cold air, generally to maximize the amount of cold air+air comming in+ram effect?
