OKay BMW question

OKay I have been looking into the E36 headlight conversion for a 92 SE. I have read through all the info I could find so no "do a search" etc....posts.
I have a simple question.
I see the E36 headlights from a 92-98 3 series BMW can be fitted to the stock gen 3 Maxima headlight buckets with some serious work. NO biggie, I live for this stuff. My question is this:

If I am going to do this conversion I am going all the way. I want the HALO BMW lights, I realize I will have to wire it up to work with the parking lamps (no biggie again), but what I want to know is what BMW had the halo lights? The Euro model 3 series? 5 series? what?

Is this an Ebay item?

So the E-36 headlights I have seen for $53 ea, thats cheap! I am guessing the halo lights are MORE......figures....oh well worth every penny.

Thanks for the help!!!!!

OKay I see that, thanks. Now are the "install the angel eye's yourself" kits gonna work okay, I see you get the rings, LED's, and wiring, what about the quality? I see the real fiber optic version lights are $550+ yikes!

Did the halo lights come from BMW on any E-36 cars?

Thanks again, I know I ask alot of questions, I just like to know what I am getting into. I have seen one Max with the Halo's, is that it?

the real fiber optic will look better, but like you found they do cost a lot more; neither of those 2 above are fiber optic

the halos did not come stock on any E36, the E36 line ended up 98 or so and the halos came out a couple years later so it's all retrofitting now

check out www.dtmpower.net and you might be able to find a good deal there

Erik (tifosiv122) sold me mine, with the headlights/"angel eyes" already installed, for a little more than $200. You might wanna ask him and see if he's still making/selling them.

Good luck, dude!!

You can e-mail umnitza@pacbell.net and ask him about the DDE's... He is working with his supplier right now to fit the DDE kit on US-spec lights. They look pretty nice, as soon as he gets the lights in stock they're going in my Max
Tell him Mike recommended him
