update on the N/A MONSTER

well turns out that 95% of the problem was a bad MAS,so i have him get another one he puts it in and the car drive great sometimes??? , the car every now and then it will still buck/hesitate but nothing like before i can actually drive the car ... before i took it he did tell me he noticed a few things that i would need to look at and this is where i think i will fix this problem once and for all... he said:

1) the ground wire for the MAS looked to him as if it was broken a bit inside cause it was kinked pretty good, also the clip that holds the MAS connector on is missing so i will have to get another plug "i know i have it somewhere lol..

2)when testing the fuel pressure he noticed it would drop off pretty fast so i might have a leaking o-ring on a injector or a bad one altogether etc, which is true i do have a torn O-ring on 1 of the injectors

3) lastly the rear coil packs isnt bolted down " the D---!! bolts broke on me when i was trying to take them out"...

well at least now i know its gotta be fuel and ignition, so my next step is going to replace all the rear coil packs just cause ive never replaced them "im sure they are original.. then get the injector O-ring maybe all of them might as well right.if need be get some new injectors "but thats a last resort" car runs fine.. get a MAS connector, that will be it car is fixed again and running at 110% ..
well thats all just wanted to let yall know whats been going on..

Glad to hear that progress is being made. Also cheers to making a monster VE I always wanted to do one but cash is a big issue. I also broke the coil pack bolts but had enough left to pull them out with a neadle nose. So after you get all the bolts out go down to the hardware store and get SS new ones

thanks man im glad that progress is being made also hehe. but yeah i think i can grab the broken bolt with pair of vise grips, but as far as SS bolts man that's expensive lol,but no you have a good point wont have to worry about them breaking ever again... cash is a big issue hhmmmm you fooled me with that brand new Vee Duub in your pic HEHEHE, but i know what ya mean this build up was very very very very very long and expensive, but now the time has come for some satisfaction,i can do the rest of the work myself the manual part, its just the damn electronic part that sucks unless you have a MUT tester or equal.if there was a down/bad side to japanese cars i would have to say it would be that so many sensors etc...

Stainless bolts at the hardware store were about $1.50 a peice I think. Also the modifiying was possible but the up keep of the max was to much. First the fuel pump than the MAF then the tranny than the coils then the injectors than the clutch then the tranny again then the window regs then the door lock timers then the bose. If u can see I felt a never ending battle. I loved the max and wish the body and quility was still around. I got a good deal and a Warrenty on the VW and it was suprisingly Quick in all gears

go to a fastener supply shop. those bolts will be about 0.25 each, even in stainless.

He must not be too good of a driver then. The new 1.8T is supposed to be pretty impressive.
