I am going to ask again because nobody responded to my last question on where my head temperature sensor plugs into on a 91 vg engine. can anyone please help me on this or look at there vg engine to see where the wiring harness plugs in at.

 

I had a '91 with a VG and I never bothered about the temp sensor, but I know on my '94 DOHC VE it's between the cylinder banks, toward the front bank, in front of the throttlebody assembly on the driver's side of the motor. There are two, a large red connector that goes to the ECU, and a smaller black one in front of that which goes to the temperature gauge. I have a hunch the set up is different on a VG, but the connector would probably look the same - a square-ish red thing with a black wire on top.

 

Thanks for at least replying I was begining to think nobody could see my post. I will look in that area of my engine but like you said it probably is a different set up.
