Tires!!
Hey someone help real quick I just ordered 4 brand new Dunlop High Performance ALl seasons. I ordered it 205/60 that size will fit still right I figured so because i have 205/65 on mine right now. Just write something back to make sure for me thanks.

Sure it'll fit.

Yeah it'll fit. It'll give a lower profile and possibly alot better handling and cornering.
Since your 205/60 tires' diameter is slightly smaller than the original, your speedometer will be inaccurate. You'll be actually going slower than the speedometer tells you. You will get slightly better acceleration due to the smaller wheels, but also lose a bit of fuel economy. And as XMP1975 said, you'll get slightly better handling and slightly harsher ride because shorter sidewall = stiffer sidewall.

Ok, here's where I'm confused. I thought the formula for tire sizing went like this:
205/60/15 - (only used 15 as an example)
205 = width of the tire across the tread
60 = aspect ratio (height of the tire from where the rim meets the tire up to where the tread meets the road)
15 = tire diameter
With that being the case, how do we know what diameter tires SupaMax is running if he didn't say it? All I see is the width and aspect ratio.
THe height of the sidewall (hence the overall diameter of the tire) is the tire width (in this case 205) times the aspect ratio (60, meaning 60%). 15" is the wheel (rim) diameter. So the diameter of a 205/60/15 tire should be: (205 x 60%) x 2 (for both top and bottom sidewall) + 15". I think the 205 is in mm (millimeter).
So as you can see a 205/65/15 tire (original size) is slightly larger.

Ok, let me see if we're both on the same sheet of music:
The first number is the width of the tire in millimeters, measured from sidewall to sidewall. To convert to inches, divide by 25.4 In the example above, the width is 185mm or 7.28".
The second number is the aspect ratio. This is a ratio of sidewall height to width. In the example above, the tire is 7.28" wide, multiply that by the aspect ratio to find the height of one sidewall. In this case, 185x0.60=111mm or 7.28"x0.60=4.36".
The last number is the diameter of the wheel in inches.
To figure the outside diameter of a tire, take the sidewall height and multiply by 2,(remember that the diameter is made up of 2 sidewalls, the one above the wheel, and the one below the wheel) and add the diameter of the wheel to get your answer.
Example...185/60/14
185mm x .60=111mm x 2=222mm + 355.6mm(14")= 577.6mm or 22.74"
(quoted from here!)
This was what I go by when figuring that stuff out. So, the bottom line is, yeah SupaMax... they'll fit.
Then, WTF am I doing here??
