My VE motor used to start up in the morning and idle at 1500 rpm for a few min and slowly drop to a normal idle of 750rpm .....lately when I start it it almost dies, then goes up to an idel of 1200 rpm and then slowly go to a normal idel of 750 within about 30-6o seconds,..its not doing its normal cold start proceedure.....and the other nite I cleaned att the connections between sensors..like the coils, o2 sensotr coolant temp sensor...just to make sure they were all clean....the connection at the coolant temp sensor was sorta loose, so i fixed it.....but now it still does the same thing when I start it when its cold....but since I have done the work....I notice it idles at about 950-1000 rpm....I do notice it seems smoother...but what do you think is making it do these things...

No air intake mods....just stock air box & filter
