I would donate my car if it meant a free turbo for being the science experiment

Damn, cant you just do it so we can get a kit? I mean he still has to pay for all the materials and making a kit is the most expensive part, it will cost well over $5k to make everything...he would probably give you a good deal and you can claim the ultimate prize, VE-T...

I would honestly be glad to, but I do not have that kind of money, sorry. Surely someone will be able to get their car over there, someone who lives in the Kentucky/Tenn./VA/NC area.

Why a VE??? Didn't he say any "3rd gen"?? As soon as I can get my car into gear, I guess I'd be game (if he wanted to play with a VG ).

Well yes but the whole idea when I was talking to him was the fact that the VE and VQ are soo similar of a set up, that he would just need to change a few bends on the piping here and there, on the VG it would have to be completely new, but you can ask.

Isnt EdgeProductions doing that? He's in KY and has a VE. I saw in one of his posts he was talking about it. He not up for it anymore?

I wish I lived close, but I am in SoCal. I would let my car be used and just rent one in the mean time. I would love to be a part of this...I will be boosted one day! I have slowly started collecting stuff, I have a nice polished FMIC in my living room now

No net access from work until today. Been finishing up a bathroom remodel and my refigerator crapped out. So I had to get it replaced under warranty etc... I'm on a T1 line from work now.

Well get it going I don't want to be the only turbo project in the works, after months of searching I finally found a friend with a 87 300zx turbo in the back yard! This is a sweet deal cause I'm getting the motor for $100.00. I pick it up next sat when I get my next day off. This turbo project will be a full rebuild, I estimate a year to finish this project and hoping to attain 350 to 375 hp! Good luck on your ve project and as I get the motor and parts wil be submitting pics of my progress with a detailed write-up!
