Then, if i remember right, there are just a few screws to remove and the unit will slide out. Haven't taken the dash aprat in a few monthes so I could be wrong.

Maxima a/c heater control console
To remove simply remove the four surrounding screws and then unplug the two white plugs at the back be careful the break easily, then the stif wire cable have to be disconnected by simply unsing a flat head screw driver. I have a A/C , Heater controle unit from my 94 gxe which im parting out works and looks 100% its perfect my car got rearended so im parting out email me b2cute69@aol.com askin 40.00

yes there a trick to it ounce the screws are loose push the right side of the unit all the way in an pull the left side throught the front its obvious the unit cannot be removed jus by pulling it straight forward apply a little pressure when pushin the right side in so you have room on the left to play with , you have to use your imagination on this one
Got the unit out !!
But I had to take the whole front dash apart...then i found the little cover on top that holds the bulbs that I could've gotten to without all of that jazz. But I'm not sure it is the bulbs. I think it may be the board inside...but we will see tommorrow.
