changing fuel lines

Yo needed some help on changing one of my fuel injector hose on my max 3rd gen vg engine. I have purchased the replacement hose and clamps!! The hose that I need to change is in connected to the link of injectors in the front of the engine. The leak is near spark plug no.6 right were the rubber fuel hose connects with the injector link. It is pretty well hidden by the air intake manifold, now would I need to remove the upper intake manifold to replace the hose? Or can I just unscrew the clamps and just bite my lip and slide the new hose in the place of the old one? Let me know?? Thanks!! The reason for changing the hose is because of the imfamous fuel smell in the cabin on cold starts!!!!
