lights any idea's

just want to see if anyone has some ideas my "pass' side headlight went out so i check it turns out i got the melted plug symptom so while i was at it i looked at the driver side and it was starting to melt so i bought 2 9004 plugs got 2 stock wattage bulb hooked them up all wires are correct etc, turn on light only driver side works "this is with the 2 new bulbs in" on low beam,so i pull the lever for high beam and both work.. so i go thru the normal steps check relays,fuses,etc..all is good. anybody have any ideas on what else it can be "like make sure the cigarette lighter fuse is not blown hehehe :D" some cars are like that.. my next step tommorrow is to take the headlight switch lever out and see if thats bad..

Hey, i was wondering that, my cig. lighter fuse is blown, replaced the fuse and it blew again and again, wats up w/ that?, itz only the cig lighter so it hasnt really mattered, but i want to use my car charger for my cell phone if i go on a trip...any idea's?

you will have to replace the plug because where it melted, the power wire will no longer sit in the right spot to make contact with the bulb. i recommend getting an upgraded harness for your headlights if you realy want to run higher wattage bulbs.
