I have a 1990 maxima and one of the daytime running light keeps turning off and on when the car is running, I was wondering if any of you guys know any remedies?? Pl.help

Oh cool, I had forgotten they had DTRL in Canadian models. I'd kinda like to see pictures of it

 

I dont know how to fix it but I can tell you how to disable them I did it to mine. email me or pm me if you want me to tell you

 

i did the same with mine....i disabled it beacause those DTRL r nasty as hell.....but if u want it back on.....check 4 n-e-lose wires or the connecter on the relay.....

 

Whereabouts is this relay, I couldnt find it

go in side ur car and in the passenger side look under the dash....the relay is a brown box b-side a blue box.....hope this helps u out.

I have a canadian model and had the same thing.
The problem is that one of the solderings on your daylight
print has a crack.
take out the daylight unit and than the print.
Use a magnifiing glas to find it and resolder it

Hey Guys...It Worked!!

I was able to take out the relay unit and found that the print board soldering had cracks in two different places where the relays were mounted, resoldered it and now its working great.
