1993 Maxima with enacurate speedometer

I have a 1993 Nissan Maxima GXE. The problem that I am having has to do with the speedometer. The speedometer is reading 10 mph faster then what I am going. I don't understand why. Everything on the car is original except for the tires which are the factory size.
Any Ideas? Please help.
Thanks

I may know what your problem is. Do you have any stickers on your car? These may lead to a feeling of going much faster than you really are. Remove all stickers and test drive.

Sorry, man, I was being a dork.

Have you thought about having your speedo calibrated?
