How you take out the rear seat???
Hey guyz, well my friend is a retard, my outside lock for my trunk never worked since i bought the car, but one day my friend decides to be a know it all and flips the latch inside the trunk that disengages the cable to the trunk popper, so now i cant get my trunk open. Now,i need to get that rear bench seat out so i can try and crawl through or get something in that trunk to swich he latch again...anyone know how that rear bench comes out??
lol, yea thanx i got the instructons but now the only thingis the dam clips on the lower seat won't come up...i yanked real hard, even pops gave it a try....now they r a lil lose, but no dice on gettin' them to pop off....
when you get the trunk open, spray some penetrating oil in the lock and work on it with the key. the problem is that the parts inside the lock have rusted together due to non-use.
once you get it working again, spray it out with soem brake cleaner to remove the solvents, then let it dry for a while and spray some graphite lube in it and you're set for another 10 years.
it took me 5-15 minutes on each one, but I've been able to free up every lock this has happened to (so far, 4 maximas and a couple of other cars).

i've noticed that my key is a lil hard to turn at times i kinda have to wiggle it back and forth.
so i just spray it inside the lock where the key goes? not problems should occur from this right?
