Ok, today I take my max for a ride. Im at a light and figure i'll gun it when it turns, so since my O/D don't work i decide i'll try it this time, and BAM, it kicks in with a vengeance. But as i get up to speed the O/D lets go and I use 3rd (i think). But after that i take it for a few more test rides and does the same thing. Ok im no genius but wouldn't the O/D work the opposoite way. Kicks in when im UP to speed and lets go when i floor it? SO that being the case, i think my O/D is working backwards. I havent seen anyone else here who posted anything like this, any suggestions?

 

o/d is the 4th gear. it won't kick in until you reach like, 125 or so mph when you punch it. when cruising if you have it on, say on my car, it usually shifts into o/d at 45 mph
