maxima despair

yes..my maxima is supposed to be an extremely reliable car..however, it seems as of lately getting worse and worse! hahaha...there seems to be an exhaust leak in my manifold that completely robs me of power and mileage when I start up, then as my car slowly heats up, the metla expands and the leak closes....which kinda sucks when you dont drive for more than 5 minutes anywhere....
secondly, my fog lights no longer run..haha..or one turns on and then I cant seem to get it to work again, my stereo is shot, my power locks are trying to trap me in my car, something else very common was wrong with it

...but at least my antenna is running strong!

we need an old priest, a young priest, and a bible

that sounds messed up. do you know where exactly it's leaking at. if it leaking at a place where there are some nuts/bolts you can tighten them to get them to seal better maybe. could be a loose connection on the foglights somewhere. probably behind the bumper where they are plugged in.

i can relate...my "reliable" max no longer wants to let me in or out (don't know exactly what that says about me), the antenna has decided it doesn't want to go down all the way, AND my speakers are shot (not to mention my serious need for new suspension and transmission)....i think it's about time for a new one, huh?

i have had all these problems and have fixed all for under 1k just resoldered door locks fixed that put new radio and speakers and rewired car to bypass crappy bose, put new light switch in that fix the random lights working problem, rebiult trany fixed stuck in second gear and grinding, i also have the manifold leak but have not noticed power loss that i will fix this summer, next is 350 for new struts and lowering springs. but its all worth it considering how much fun it is to drive.

Since I bought the car in January I have replaced the timing belt and water pump (maintanence so I can't complain about that), I had to have the passanger side front axle CV joints rebuilt, the antenna broke, the radio is dead (replacing with a Bose from a 99), I have a clicking noise that my dad assures me is a stuck lifter, my front right tire is wearing badly, the alignment sucks, and my steering wheel is cocked to the left. And I need a paint job. I still love the car though.
