Installing 99 Bose HU, think I have it figured out

I got a Bose head unit from a 99 max and am installing it in my 91. I have the pin-outs diagram from installdr.com and have found the wiring harnesses from metraonline.com. I am getting the harness that plugs into the existing harness and the one that goes into the stereo. I am going to splice the wires together and I am pretty sure it will work, just wanted to get any other opinions or warnings from anyone that is more familiar with these units. Thanks
