After my weird fiasco last week with the power loss to my car and the misfiring engine (Which by the way, mysteriously disappeared, my mechanic hasn't a clue as to whats the problem), I'm getting kind of hesitant about driving my car.

Anyways, the major thing I'm looking at right now is the possibility of my transmission dying sometime soon, god forbid.

What can I do to keep my transmission healthy? I know nothing whatsoever about transmissions.

change the fluid to redline MT-90...its expensive, but worth it
otherwise, get a tranny cooler about $150-200 bucks

umm MT-90 is gear oil. last i checked the GXE only came in autos. he should change the ATF w/ a good syn fluid..Amsoil or Redline.
the cooler is used on the auto also. if u want a cooler on a 5spd then you'll need to run a pump also..i believe.

150-200 for a tranny cooler

Hopefully that includes parts and labor. Cooler alone should be under $50.
