That depends on what car you have(your profile doesnt say). The gxe with active speakers are different than the SE and GXE with Bose.

I know the Bose systems have like a 4" door speaker and 6x9 rear.

The front can easily be changed to a 6.5" with custom brackets.

I am not sure on the GXE though but if you do a search you will find out.

Also check the FAQs because there is probably something in there too.

edit because I put a g instead of a q in the FAQ...I looked at the post and was like hey why did it put stars like I said a bad word. lol

If I remember correctly my GXE non-bose was 4x6 fronts and 6.75 rears, you can easily goto Crutchfield.com and make sure though

If I remember correctly there is a "3rd gen FAQs" thread that is stuck at the top of the 3rd gen forum and even a search feature in the to right hand corner of your screen. Hmm, I wonder what they are there for........

Dude - there wouldn't be any need for this thread if a search had been done.

All I'm trying to say is that you could be a little easier on people who don't use the search forum. If you don't have any information or helpful facts for this guy, then, why bother to humilate him? Just lay off, OK?!

he's not trying to humilate him, he's trying to help
a lot of people dont know about the search feature or think to use it and he's just suggesting that since he has been around long enough to know this has been asked MANY times before

2+ years of archived threads on here so you can find lots of good stuff if you are any good at searching
