I had a really snotty come back because I know someone said that the Z flywheel was 6 stud, and the VG only 5, or vice versa... But then I realized you said VE, which has the same number as the Z flywheel...
I won't even guess, because I'll prolly be wrong, but why do you want to use one from a Z and not an aftermarket?

i'm asking because i want to use an aftermarket Z flywheel. i can most likely get one for pretty cheap ($200>). and even if i cant get it that cheaply, there is an RPS clutch/fidanza(might be aasco) flywheel for around $500

I've got a stock VE flywheel that you could get resurfaced and lightened. I'm not sure how much it costs to lighten, but it cost me $23 to resurface when I did my clutch.

$50 + shipping

mine does with just a lightened stock flywheel and UDP.
by the time you lighten the flywheel any more than that, you're going to lose momentum on the launch and it'll be a PIA to drive on the street.

i have a lightened flywheel and UDP, but my friend's Z has a UDP and aluminum flywheel and its MUCH better. i love driving that thing. granted its a different motor with more low end power (at least it feels that way), i dont think it'll be an issue for the VE.
