The Colors Duke!!!

I'm systematically replacing all of my interior lights with red ones. So far I have the door lights and the dome lights replaced, and I'm doing the instrument panel, trunk, and those nifty little map light thingies next to the sunroof switch tomorrow. I was wondering if it was possible to replace the LEDs on the climate control box and/or the in-dash clock, and if so what kind are needed and where the easiest places to get them are. Also if this somehow weren't possible what alternative solutions are possible.

Look in the general maxima forum. A guy on here just changed every light in his car to blue. It is on like page two or three or do a search. I can't remember what his name is but it is somthing like 97'se. You need to use some resisters on some of the items in the car.

Also post some pics of your progress cause I was going to transfer all my bulbs out too. What size did you use in the A/C control panel?

Thanks man. I'll look into that, and I'll post pics of my progress up ASAP. But for now I definitely must say daytime does not do it justice. Looks pretty bad *** at night tho.

um yea im pretty sure it isnt worth it your have to remove the climate controls by tearing the dash al apart then you would have to tear apart the climat control unit to change the bulbs

Actually I already tore apart my dash to get to my guage cluster and switch out the lights. It takes very little time. I'm not even gonna bother with the climate control until after I have an idea of what to do.

taking apart the climate control itself is pretty easy...u have to be a little careful with the blue vent door control wire when taking it out, just unhook it at the vent door itself rather than try to unhook it at the CC end.

I was thinking of pulling a CC unit from a later model Nissan, somewhere along the lines of a '97 240SX. I just think they look better thank the one that's there right now, not to mention I like the notion of making a frankenstein out of my Max.

Any comments on fitment and feasability???
