Decisions... decisions...

I'm not sure what to do...

Either I purchase

a) A new magnaflow muffler
b) Lower the car (going to get it around 10cm off the ground)

I can only afford one at the moment and I'm tossing up which one to do first

For the exact part number for the muffler, go to my maxima page here

I would lower it (I voted) because the constant droning of a straight trhough muffler is awful. I admit I am an old fart but I had to take the muffler that was on my car off when I got it because of the constant drone. I couldnt even hold a decent conversation with my wife. Of course gone are the days of blairing my radio to drown out the muffler.

just my .02

Lower it. Do it right..new struts too. Handling improvement will be huge. Muffler will do nothing but make it sound different. Won't make your car any faster, but a handling mod allows you to drive it faster in the corners.

Lower it, try to stay away from the droning mufflers. Handling is what you need.

Re: Decisions... decisions...

The maximas are plenty powerful w/o a muffler. If you lower it, you'll get better looks as well as the added handling.
