I hate 3RD GENS. They....

actually i love 3rd gen. But after 2-3 months of looking for one i think im ready to give up. Countless nights staying up looking for one to buy but no luck. I really love the 3rd gen. Had a 90 se but was rear ended really bad back in 0ct. When i do give up.....my whole stillen kit and sprint springs go up for sale. Stillen kit was only 2 weeks old. Springs=about 3k mi.
I was hit by a suv so the kit was untouch. Only hit above bumper crushng the whole rear end in.
If anyone is interested please post/pm/email me with offers and iwill get back to you.
thanx for looking!

I think the stillen is the best looking kit. I also need to replace the shock/struts on mine.

My friend totaled his SAAB in November, and just picked up his '94 GXE with 68K on the clock from Texas. He is from Beliot... You just gotta look a little harder, and be willing to travel. I bought my '92 SE in Flordia last summer, it had 59K. I had to make a trip but it was worth it.

i spent countless hours on the net. Tried the local newspaper. Every online site that sells cars. Nothing seems to be working.
Yes i did try autotrader. And i dont want to travel across the u.s. to find one. All online sites...i put up to 300 mi from my zip code. Still no luck. I did get lucky and find one for sale in my area. Someone from the org but the backed out. Yes sux for me. I'm just so tired of looking.

Well, you live in a crappy area for good cars. (I'm in Northern IL) Its hard to find a car with low miles and in good general shape.

I'm almost tempted to sell you my mother in laws, but it too is a automatic, but it's an 89 SE with 84K original miles. It's in good shape for 14 years old, but it's going to need painting. It was in a hail storm when I owned the car and the top, deck lid, and hood has to be fixed/repainted. That happened in 93. Now the paint is coming off where it was fixed. I am getting ready to buff it out to see if that will help, but generally, I think painting the whole car would be best. The rear defroster doesn't work, and neither does the Bose stereo. I wanted to buy the car back myself but I really don't need it, and I think the price she wants is a little high. I wanted it as a rainy day driver so that I didn't have to drive my truck in the rain.

If you can find one you really like, why not have the car ship to you...maybe a few hundred bucks but is worth it.

Turbo91max-92vemaxse already gots first dibs if i do decide to sell. He's local thats why? Plus i bought the springs for 200 bux from a local shop and he said he could do 115 bux for the springs. My Loss! But these springs are practically brand new. Less than 3month use.

My friend used to be in the car auction business and he gets a few car at a time. He pays the auction place a fee and they'll have the cars truck freight to his place. I know is cost about $350-$400 (maybe more depending on distance) to ship.

FOR SALE: 91 SE 5sp

Hey There,

I'm sorry that I missed you on my way down to Florida from Chicago. You could have saved me a grueling trip by hauling my 91 SE through the mountains. If you are interested, read further.

Though I love my SE, I have a real job now and I want something new. I have a white SE for sale. Adult driven and maintenance done on time.
As a matter of fact, it is at the dealer now getting the timing belt replaced at 59K interval. The car, 116K miles, has charcoal/black interior with a great clutch. And almost blemishless body.

Recent Perks: 10K on new Kumho performance tires; New windshield; new window switch, recent tuneup, timing belt replaced at 56K and 116K

Lifetime maintenance:
clutch replaced at 55K
Timing belt, water pump, cam seals, tensioner replaced at 56K
Exhaust pieces replaced as failed over life of car
Brakes replaced at 85

Issues: The sunroof is cracked; Beginning to rust underneath rear dog leg (Midwest car), one rear exhaust bolt broken (not worth the money to fix...no lapse in performance)

Thanks for reading...hopefully a new 350 or SAAB is in my future.

To bad your now in FL, I'm in Chi-town and would have liked to see your car. I'd think long and hard about giving up my 89 for a 5spd.
