It's amazing!
After I wrapped the cracked coils just with electrical tapes,
I found that I have to press the gas paddle more slightly, or I will hit the front car. :D The acceleration is greatly improved. :D |

But you don't know if the tape is still ok when the engine is very
hot, for example, in the summer and for a long time driving. Originally posted by CandiMan That's good, FYI I've read post from others stating they didn't notice a difference between their crack/tape coils and new coils. This is the reason I'm not in a rush to replace my tape coils, unless for some reason it start arching thru the tape. For now I rather put my dollars else where were it's needed. |

I am one of the owners that had taped coils and replaced them without any noticable difference. I am not saying there isnt one but I didnt feel one. When I took the taped coils out they were still taped so if you use a good tape like 3M then it will stay.
