It's amazing!

After I wrapped the cracked coils just with electrical tapes,
I found that I have to press the gas paddle more slightly, or
I will hit the front car.
The acceleration is greatly improved.

That's good, FYI I've read post from others stating they didn't notice a difference between their crack/tape coils and new coils. This is the reason I'm not in a rush to replace my tape coils, unless for some reason it start arching thru the tape. For now I rather put my dollars else where were it's needed.

But you don't know if the tape is still ok when the engine is very
hot, for example, in the summer and for a long time driving.

If the hesitation I was getting prior to taping the coil returns, then I'll take a closer look at the tape coils. Ignition parts that are arching have a very distinctive look/color to them. To be honest I'll probably try retaping and if that doesn't work then it's time to invest. I'm going on almost a 365 days with my tape coils and the hesitation has yet to return. I have over driveability issues that
I know is not related to a arching igniton system.

I am one of the owners that had taped coils and replaced them without any noticable difference. I am not saying there isnt one but I didnt feel one. When I took the taped coils out they were still taped so if you use a good tape like 3M then it will stay.
