this valve uses auxiliary air and opens a valve to the intake manifold which activtes the ECU and in turn opens the throttle more in times when the engine is warming up, etc. as the coolant temp rises, the valve slowly closes. I NEED TO CLEAN OUT MY AAC VALVE ASSEMBY. HAS ANYONE EVER DONE THIS? the haynes manual goes through the process of removing the air tube and then seating the AAC valve by selecting the AAC to the diagnostics mode and blah blah. has everyone had to do this to get your AAC problem fixed? thanx
