Best Cold air intake?

Best Cold air intake?

I have a 1990 SOHC Maxima and was wondering whats the best cold air intake out there for my car? And if I get it do I have to get a heat shield for it? Thanks I aperricaite the help!

The object is to sheild away the hot engine fumes. Ive seen them on some ricers, its like a box around the intake, usually made of metal or plastic.

The cold air intake goes into the wheel well... bypassing the need to do a heat sheild.
