New Owner/user Needs Help!
Ok i really want to purchase a 89-94 Max, always loved em' never owned one except for my grandfathers 85'...
Here's the problem there is one i can purchase ASAP but not sure it is worth it or safe...this is where i need help...
its a 1990 GXE Auto w/74k miles, mint Int. & Ext.(Mint looking car) but it has few minor problems; random ticking from engine at idle (valve tick?)goes away when reved, small exhaust leak in the engine bay area, one back window does not work, and from 20k miles to 70k miles never got new tranny fluid/service or a timing belt...
Is it worth it at $3000.00 Neg.????

sounds like the common broken exhaust studs and the window regualtor...very common.
tell u what...do a search on "common probles" or "problems" in the search function...you'll get a better idea of atleast whats commonly wrong with these cars...
an no it probably has the VG engine that doesnt have the VTC issue...might be something else...but check it for sure
