VI on a VE
VI on a VE
I am assuming this is a question to all of those who have a FSM. What is the purpose of the voltage to the switch? Isnt it just a baro switch? Does it allow the vacuum to VI or what? Help this poor boy out with broken VI that doesnt have a volt meter.

the voltage opens/closes the VI solenoid which then allows the vacuum to actuate the VI actuator. how do you know your VI is broken?

i know its broken because:
the lever does not move when the throttle is stabbed, revs raised above 4500-5000, when the vacuum line is disconnected, there is no difference in power whatsoever, thats what i mean by broken
