Hey guys this is my first post. I have a 1989 Maxima with the bose system in it. When I first got the car the passenger side spearker was (I guess you can say it was farting) and my driver side spearker wasnt working at all. So i decided to call up crutchfield and get new speakers but I also had to get a new reciver too. But heres my problems guys First i dont know if I need Brackets to insatll 6-1/2 in the front. Now for the rear I got a pair of 6 by 9. I installed them and the left speakers works fine but my right speaker is low on volume. Now I dont know what to do.

p.s I broke like all my pannel clips taking out my door speaker I dont know where to get more

Get new clips from the dealer parts department. I'm in the middle of replaceing the BOSE and putting 6.5 speakers in the front. You can't just bolt them in. You have to make new brackets out of wood or thick Polypropylene sheet or something else. Cut them the shape of the BOSE speaker housing and use the same mounting bolts to mount the new brackets. I cut the hole for the speakers into the new brackets and used 1" spacers between the speaker and the new bracket to make sure they clear the window. It takes a little time, but isn't too tough. Positioning the speaker hole on the bracket is also critical for clearances, make sure it clears the door panel and tucks into the area with the speaker grill. Use the "Search" function in the top right corner for more info. There have been posts with pictures about this topic. Good luck.
