I finally got a Max!!!

I just wanted to introduce myself to you all and show my enthusiasm for the Max. For years I've wanted a 3rd gen Maxima. Well on thursday my dreams came true. Sitting downstairs is a near perfect looking pearl white '93 SE automatic with only 88k miles! I can't tell you all how great it is to finally have a car with power. I'm coming out of a '93 Mazda 626 four banger (3100 lbs with 118HP=SLOW!!).
Okay so my Max has a minor "heat soak" condition. I put 93 octane in and seems much better. At some point I'll look into a new KS. It has good VTC's thankfully. Power is furious most of the time. I love this car. I'll post a pic as soon is I can hold of a digital cam although that may take awhile.

VE maxima's are great. I replaced my pulley with a ASP pulley and the heat soak problem went away for me.

Umm yea - im baccccckkkkkkk.....

And i have horrible news about my max....the climate control system doesn't have a briught LCD isplay thing. I wacked with my cell phone and it got bright like it should be, then i went over a speed bump and it went dim again, so ya kow i figured i might as well thump it again because it worked the first time....and well i chipped a small pice off of the dash thing. Crap. HEh. To the junk yard!
