I have old 90Se with velour seats (210K)miles.
IM thinking of keeping this for back up car and getting new
4th gen 5 spd.
How hard is it to convert the 3rd and 4th gen seats to heated ones?
I drive lots 30 to 50 K a year and love heated seats on My back specially in winter,Im an Old Fart ! Helps keep Me loose =)..
I see new models have heated some times ,,, very rarely on 3rd gens.
I also am tempted to find a bench seat and install that ,, would be
weird conversion, but they are more comfy and allow Me to shift my posistion a lot more. Im thinking of a taurus bench or camry.
Ok have fun with this , I will stay with max s they are the best car
in there class for Me.

I think he means the pads you can buy from auto parts stores and such that slip over the seats and have heating coils in them. I may be wrong though.

Thanks
I didnt think about E brake. that would suck,, seat belts would need an anchor on tunnel... behind seat and the receptacle pushed tween the 2 chusions..
Any way ...... those coils are a car parts or Autozone thing?
OR a nissan dealer thing that need s a switch on dash?
Either way I wouldnt Mind better seats...
even leather(heated) from a 4th Gen =)
thanks
I just did a timing belt/waterpump/regular belts/tensioner spring, on My car It wasnt too bad made good time.
I forgot how to do tensioner adjustment so I added new spring turned engine over a few revolutions.. while nut was loose on tensioner and let the spring tension stay what ever the new spring was.ANd tighttened.
On My 90 you have to bleed heater box at box... or it gets airbound and heater wont hardly put out.
Thanks in advance !
