Governers?
I know most 5spds dont have em...but do automatics? i was in bama over christmas break and since theres a whole lot of road (straight roads) i decided to top out. my speedometer went past 125 mph. and no rev limiter kicked in. is that normal? BTW - i have a '90 GXE

VE 5spd's have been known to get up to 160+
Well you have a 90 GXE... and I have an 89 SE... even in the sorry shape my car is in at the moment... I've managed to top out at about 135mph...
I wanted to push it further but there was a lovely curve on the freeway that suggested I don't push it. So yeah... expect about the same...
