VG30E knock sensor location ?

Hi All:
I want to run some tests on the knock sensor in order to see the difference that different octane gas makes. Where exactly it is located on the VG enigne?

we're not your personal answering service.

knock sensor is located at the rear of the engine towards the pass side under the exhaust manifold.

How do you know if the sensor is bad...what kind of symptoms can I look for?

they are not known to go bad. but if you want to know...i believe it's massive power loss, possible engine running hot. i'll try to look up the sensor testing procedures later.
