disabling tunk switch

i am sure you have talked about his before, but i forgot. however how do you turn off the switch that pops open your trunk, so just in case some one breaks into your car, and thet can't get into the trunk. do you take off the door panel? thanks for your feedback

you could take off the door panel and unplug the switch or you could just push down the lever in the trunk

if you open up the trunk and look at the bottom part where the latch goes, you'll see a small opening in the trunk insulation and a metal lever that can be slid up or down that will allow you to only open the trunk with the key
make sure your key works in the trunk lock before you do this though

someone has posted pics of it before, try searching for trunk lock or something like that

I got too excited about possibly helping him out that I typed too fast

when you see the looks on their faces after you help them out, it makes it all worthwhile
