Changing shifter bracket...how much should it be

I have finally decided to have my broken shifter bracket changed (5speed manual).
How much should the labor be to have it changed...i can do it myself too but i dont have stands or anything to support the car high enough to access the cat converter heat shield from the bottom.

One shop qouted like 1.5 hours of work for it since they think the shifter itself will have to be disassmbled. i personally think it shouldnt take more than half an hour.

Has somebody changed it before? what are your opinions?

p.s. this is the bracet that is right below the center console and right above the cat converter and heat shield.

hour and a half is a good estimate. the shifter does have to be pulled apart to get to it.
