Automatic Transmission question......?

Latley when I have been driving my Max, I have been having to press the gas pedal pretty hard and it seems like it revs real high untill it finally switches into gear. It's almost like not switching gears in a manual when your in like 1st or second. After it revs real high and loud, it kicks into the next gear. I am confused and I would have done a more lengthy search on this but my computer has a some sort of worm or virus that doesn't let me search some stuff. Anyone delt this problem? Am I starting to loose my transmission?

check your tranny fluid, run the tranny diagnostic and look for a faulty shift solenoid(maybe)....if all elese fails goto Aamco and get it diagnosed. sounds like its dying to me though.

Is it the power/ comfort switch?
when its in power, it tends to rev higher than it would in comfort (has to deal with the powerband of teh gears)
just flip the switch to comfort plus you'll save money at the gas tank
