search?

search?

what happened to the search function, when i try to search it sais "search function has been disabled"

the server is ridiculously fast...for me at least....bad thing is i actually need that speed for searches.

Do you have a broadband connection??? It's the same for me... sucks cause I actually need the search function right now...

I don't get it I have High speed Cable at home and a T1 at work and searches take me forever????

that's why they're disabled right now. the searches aren't taking forever because of your computer being slow.. they take a long time because they're very resource hungry on the server, so with a hundred users on it, with dozens possibly doing searches, you can see the point.. it lugs the server down tremendously.

disable the search function and notice how much faster it is?

but... the search function is about the most useful thing about this site.
personally, id rather wait for the search function than post a new thread for every question i have

also gotta keep in mind has to go through almost every post on the forum every time you search, its gonna take a while, given its a fast server or not.

Yeah I agree with gdmaxse the search function is what I find the most useful. So how long will it be disabled?

Does anyone know when the search function will be available again. This sucks I cant look up anything without it.
