Rear brake question?

I just replaced my rear rotors with brembo OEM replacement rotors and my brake pads with Metal-lux brake pads. I noticed this past saturday that on my passenger side rear rotors they are now grooved and the pads are wearing down faster than the other side. The rotors on the opposite side are still smooth and lots of pad left. Why is one side wearing down faster and the rotors feel like they are being cut (they are rigid)?

Thanks
-Mike

check the caliper to make sure the slider pins aren't frozen.. sounds like that's the problem. fairly common.
