NEED answer real quick!!!!
Wife's driving me nuts about the blown front speakers! I'm gonna go grab some Sony Xplodes from Walmart and pop them in tomorrow to get her off my back. I need to know what size the front speakers are on her '91 SE? THANKS!

they perform decently, but do break up at high volumes. see what your wife wants, then decide from there.

Pioneer =
if your just gonan pop in spkrs in the stock housings with no modification then 4" is what you need (for bose) or 4x6 (for "active speaker" system) i fit 6.5s in mine but then again i made my own housing for it

Thanks everyone. She already has 6x9 Xplodes in the back and was nursing the front Boses speakers until they finally kicked it completly. She has an Alpine (can't think of the model # at the moment)head unit.
I think the 6x9 Sony's sound great and agree that they're a decent speaker as long as they're not pushed too hard..which they won't be. Thanks again!
