What offset is the best for our cars with 17" wheels?

depends on wether you want your wheels to stick out or in. it also depends on what width the wheel is. normally it's 35-45

My 17" Ro_Ja's are a 42 offset and I get a slight bit of rub on the fronts at full lock. They are 7" wide with a 225/45ZR17 tire. They also look a little "tucked in". I wish they were more like a 38 offset. I'd actually consider 5mm spacers if I had enough stud length to do it.
