ill set it but cant get it to go off no matter what i do i set it off one time with out even tring but havent been able to get it to work sense what are some of the things i can do to try to fix this problem???

 

hmm.. how much time do you give it to activate? mine takes like 30 seconds to click in, so try opening your windows lock the door from the key pad, wait till the light on the dash goes off, maybe even a lil more, then open your dorr from the inside, and see whether it goes off. if not, then its probably something technical which im not the person to ask.. hope it helps

 

I thought mine was not working but figured out is was my misunderstanding how the system works. Try this:

Get in the car
Shut the door
Lock the doors
Wait a couple minutes (looks at dash security light to stop blinking)
Open a door

That should trip it.

Any time you use the keypad code or a key - it disarms the system.

 

have any of you guys dash security lights gone out?? could it be a bad fuse or something? my aftermarket alarm still works fine, but when I first got the car the orange security light used to come on, but not any more......???
